Animate Helston is a festival and celebration of animated film held at the Museum of Cornish Life. About This year, as part of the Cornwall Film Festival we will be celebrating everything experimental about film on Friday 10th and Saturday 11th November, in partnership with CMR Project Space, Redruth. In 2011, Cornwall Media Resource was rebranded and relaunched as CMR and has since been developed into an artist-led residency, exhibition and project space for established and emerging artists from within Cornwall as well as nationally and internationally, aiming to provide resources and space for experimentation, learning and development through residencies, screenings, workshops, talks, exhibitions and social and skill-sharing events. He’s been produced by XTC’s Andy Partridge and written for the likes of Captain Sensible of The Damned. Though it would be wrong to call him an "unknown", he has never been directly in the limelight.
