About

HAIKU

What is a haiku? How can we create haiku? Haiku is a short 3 line poem with a maximum of 17 syllables that can be fitted into your day, a chance to distill your thoughts and express your creativity. This is a course for those who want to dip their toe into haiku and have a go as well as for those already enjoying this form. We will explore the form, discuss ideas around haiku and take part in bite-sized workshops around themes.

About the workshop series

Our ESF Get Creative! Cultivate Programme workshops are open to everybody - no dress code, no qualifications. We strongly believe everybody is creative, everybody ‘writes’. Writing is what you think, say, see, touch, feel and do - you just need to choose how to express it. These workshops will be fun, engaging and accessible - valuing everyday creativity.

The focus will be on exploring ways to express yourself and find your voice, where your creativity is also part of your well being.
