We've found the biggest barrier to attending events is not being able to afford the ticket price. In order to overcome that barrier, we're removing the ticket price and asking audiences to simply pay what they can so we can welcome more people to the festival experience and inspire wider audiences. Here are some handy prompts At the £2 - I have no access to savings - I am under or unemployed - I can not afford time off and rarely afford clothes, cinema & books At £4 - -I often stress about how to pay my bills & don't always achieve them - I am employed but don't have regular hours - I can take time off and do go on holidays & occasionally buy new items At £8 - I can comfortably meet my bills and needs - I own private transport and can afford to fuel it - I have access to savings and have my own property or choose where I rent Can I get a festival pass ? Many festival submission platforms allow for online submission of an EPK. Some festivals will only ask for an EPK if your film is selected. Film for submission – Some festivals require that all projects be submitted via a password-protected streaming URL link, e.g. Vimeo, YouTube. Others will accept a film uploaded through a submission platform or the festival’s website. Some festivals will accept a DVD and may specify the region and file format. DVDs must be labelled with title, production company name, phone number and address, director’s name, length in minutes, and submission platform tracking number if applicable. Submitted DVDs are unlikely to be returned. Film for screening if selected – Different festivals have different requirements. For example, this is for the Tribeca Film Festival: (i) one (1) exhibition copy (technical specifications must be confirmed by the Festival in advance) of the invited work; (ii) a backup copy or copies, as required by the technical department; and (iii) additional exhibition copies, if requested by the Festival (to allow for multiple screenings at more than one venue). It is recommended that you ship all exhibition copies via courier in order to permit the tracking of your project once it leaves your hands. Intern Application Form About our Internships We are seeking hard-working and enthusiastic individuals who would like an internship with a thriving film and media organisation. We are a media charity that holds an annual film festival, live events, yearly film screenings and programming, runs industry training, masterclasses and talks, education programmes and community projects. Our internship programme is designed to give you real-life experience across a range of industry roles including production; events management; social media; marketing; design; admin and more! We will give you an opportunity to work across all our organisational strands - festival, industry and events, community, education, and charity to gain valuable experience in varied roles within the creative industry. You may work as a production assistant on one of our live events or online masterclasses; a researcher or content creator for our social media; a designer of digital assets for one of our programmes or an event planner for one of our live events. We are looking for adaptable and enthusiastic people who are ready for a challenge and want to try their hand at lots of different roles within the media. Interns will be supported through their time at Mor Media via regular meetings and monitoring via their activity log sheet and development logs. This will also feed into the completion of an Award which will see them complete two units, one will be linked to the creative skills needed to complete work required by the role, and one will be a reflective evaluation on the work they have done during their internship.
